Mr Ellis is very relatable. He takes time to listen and answer questions in a very empathetic way. He told me the injections wouldn't hurt and they didn't. I believe he is very experienced and I totally trust his judgement.

I first saw Mr Ellis last year with a torn miniscus. I found him very personable and I felt very confident that he knew what he was doing. He went through all the options clearly, one being to leave it and see how it goes. I chose to leave it for a while as it wasn't giving me too much trouble, but due to the nature of my job it got worse after a year, so I went back to Mr Ellis. Again he explained all options, the main one being to have a procedure done this time which I chose. Mr Ellis explained all the pros and cons and the paperwork explaining the procedures arrived a few days later. He visited me on the day of the procedure explain everything again and reassured me. He came in after the procedure to see how I was and explained what he'd found and rectified. I had all the information about the procedure before I left the hospital. I have been very happy with every aspect of this procedure and would highly recommend Mr Ellis.

I was referred to Mr Ellis due to a torn meniscus and from first meeting to last I was shown a courtesy and understanding not often received in such things. At my first consultation I was made to feel at ease throughout and given clear options of treatment choices, their risks and what would be best for me, the treatment was then immediately booked in. I suffer with white coat syndrome but the day before the procedure I revived a call from Mr Ellis who took the time to reassure me and put me at ease about the next day and for this simple action I was truly grateful On the day of the procedure I was seen by Mr Ellis twice before my procedure once to go through the surgery at which time I did not feel I was being rushed with my questions or his explanations and again just to check I was ok. I was then checked on again before leaving given some further advice for recovery and before I could offer a hand shake as a thank you his was offered in good luck I highly reccomend Mr Ellis not only for his skills as a surgeon but his all round attention and care to his patient

I received excellent care from seeing Mr Ellis in clinic, the day before my operation Mr Ellis telephoned me to make sure every thing was ok and I was ready for op, that really put me at ease. My care through out the day and next two days from Mr Ellis and his team and the nursing staff, catering, domestic staff were all brilliant. I could not have asked for better care. Thank you all
